Aloha guys! Here is my Oahu Bucket List!

Lakaina Beach

Lanikai Beach! It should be a whole day trip! Consider the hike up to the Pillbox’s above Lanikai. It only takes about 30 minutes to get a view of all Lanikai below! Make sure you stop by Waimanalo Beach State Park! it’s the longest white sand beach on oahu and according to  many friends of mine it has the best shrimp wagon in Oahu. Romy’sshrimp truck is located in Kahuku, it’s known for freshness and worth a stop if you’re circling the island.

Spend as much time as you can at the North Shore!

Sunset Beach! make sure you watch a sunset over there. its great for swimming and the sand is lovely and thick.

WaimeaBeach! that’s where I went cliff diving.. It was so much fun! Maunawili Waterfall is another charming cliff diving spot!

Nothing beats early morning snorkeling at Shark’s CoveTurtle Bay is another great spot for snorkeling. Hanauma Bay is by far the most famous snorkeling destination, it’s a lovely place if you don’t mind being around many tourists. It’s usually very crowded and there’s a charge to park and get into the place. Electric Beach is a favourite local spot for snorkeling. Which you can stop by on the way to Yokohama Bay and Kaena Point.

Turtle, Oahu

Helena’s Hawaiian Food! located at 1240 North School Street, Honolulu. The local itself doesn’t make an impression but the food does! It is the place to go to experience the authentic Hawaiian cuisine! For more authentic Hawaiian try Ono Hawaiian food on Kapahulu. If you’re craving for sweet food  you shouldn’t miss Leonard’s Malasadas.

Talking about food! don’t miss Haleiwa Eats Incorporated in Haleiwa/ North Shore. It has been the best Thai place me and my friends have ever been at. Yes I do still dream about it!(808-637-4247/66-079 Kamehameha Hwy).  I would also recommend Opal Thai in Haleiwa if you’re looking for thai food on the North Shore.

Lanikai Juice Hawai’i is a food and beverage company that focuses on serving fresh smoothies, fruit bowls and freshly squeezed juices. My favourite was the Acai Bowl. I find it being the best Juice Bar in Oahu. It is located in Haleiwa on Kamehameha Hwy, in Kahala and Kailua.

And the Beet Box Cafe in Haleiwa! its fabulous and healthy!(808-637-3000/66-443 Kamehameha Hwy)

Take a short stop in Chinatown or visit the Farmer’s Market on saturday at KCC to sample some of the tempting seasonal tropical fruit. Get some Ohi’a’ai (also known as mountain apple, rose apple, water apple) their unique taste is delicious.

Sandy Beach and Yokohama Bay(close to the Kaena Point) were my favourite south shore beaches.
Kualoa Ranch (it’s where Jurassic Park was filmed)

Ever heard of the Stairways To Heaven trail? Gorgeous views from any stand point! Just make sure to bring a blanket up if you’re going to wait for the sunrise! It consists of 3,922 steps, which makes it a good workout.
